About Us

John F Smith IV, Founder

John was raised in the Greater Philadelphia area before attending Gettysburg College where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, earning the honor of 'Top Economics Graduate' with a minor in Mathematics.

After college, John joined the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice helping the banking section oversee more than 600 mergers and acquisitions before obtaining his MBA at Dartmouth College.

After more than 15 years working in the Real Estate Industry with REITs, developers, and investment funds, he switched gears and began helping private interests; to bring about an NBA sports arena, to help buy marinas, found a marketing company's consulting arm, purchase real estate assets, and raise money for a fish fertilizer company.

John lives in Charlotte, NC, is an avid snorkeler, dog wrestler, sci fi nerd, international swimming hole explorer, and map enthusiast.
